Special Report. I am directed to report that the members of the Goldfields and Mines Committee desire to record their esteem of the valuable services rendered the mining industry during the many years he was Chairman of the Committee, by Mr. T. W. Rhodes, M.P. Members appreciate the tact, unfailing courtesy, and wide knowledge that was displayed by Mr. Rhodes concerning the intricate problems that came up for consideration, and resolve that this motion be recorded in the minutes of the Committee, and also that it be reported to the House. 4th October, 1928.
Special Report. 1 am directed to report that the members of the Goldfields and Mines Committee desire to commend Mr. George C. Black, who has been Clerk of the Committee for the past five sessions, on the manner in which he has this session carried out his duties. M. Samuel, in his management of the business of the Committee during the session.
