Note. —In terms of the Rural Intermediate Credit Act, 1927, the amounts advanced and outstanding at any time shall not exceed in the aggregate the sum of £400,000. Every advance shall be free of interest for the period of ten years immediately succeeding the date on which the first such advance is made. After the expiration of the said period of ten years interest, shall be payable half-yearly, at such rate as the Minister of Finance shall firm time to time determine.
