Hospital staffs everywhere have been increased owing to the increased use of hospital beds. An examination of the attached table will show that there is a large increase in the number of occupied beds in training-schools consequently, partly due to this fact and partly because of the more general allowance of a day off a week, the number of pupil nurses has increased.
