This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the shores of Tamaki Strait and the Firth of Thames to the mouth of the Waihou River ; thence by that river to and along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Lot 5 of Section 12, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, to and along the southern boundary of Section 5, the eastern boundary of Sections 4 and 6, northern boundary of Section 9, and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 82, 81, 80, 79, 78, 77, and 76, all of the aforesaid block and survey district, and their production to the railway-line; thence southwesterly by the said railway-line and the Te Aroha - Morrinsvilie Road to Thomas Road, and by that road to the Waitoa River, and by that river to the Te Aroha - Morrinsville and by that road to the Waiharakeke Stream ; thence by that stream to the northern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 1039 a, by the northern boundary of that land, and by then orthern boundary of Maungatapu Nos. 4b, 4d 1, and 4d 2 Blocks to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3 on D.P. 1932 to the northern boundary of the said Lot 3 ; thence along the northern boundary of said Lot 3, and the north-western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2 on D.P. 7542 to the railway-line ; thence by the railway-line to the Piako River, by that river to the Topehahae River, by that river to the Waitakaruru Stream, and by that stream to Avenue Road; thence by Avenue Road to the Auckland - Thames Railway line; thence by that railway-line to and along the road intersecting Lots 1, 3, and 8, and forming the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4, Eureka Estate, and road forming the south-eastern boundary of Lots 9 and 8, Newstead Estate, all of Blocks XII and XVI, Komomorau Survey District; thence by a right line from the southernmost corner of Lot 8 aforesaid to the southernmost corner of Lot 11 on D.P. 7346 ; thence bounded towards the west generally by the Hamilton, Raglan, Franklin, and Otahuhu Electoral Districts hereinbefore described to the shores of Tamaki Strait, the place of commencement. Thames. This district is bounded towards the west, north, and east generally by the sea from the mouth of the Waihou River to the south-eastern corner of Part Waihi No. 5 Block at Te Ararimu in Block I, Katikati North Survey District; thence south-westerly along the northern boundary of Crown land, the northern side and western extremity of a public road, the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 22631, the north-western boundaries of Section 8, Block I, Katikati North Survey District, Ohinemuri No. 17a Nos. 2a, 2b, and 2c Blocks, Sections 6 and 7, Block I, aforesaid, the southwestern boundary of Section 7 aforesaid, the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block I, aforesaid, the crossing of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, again by Section 3 aforesaid, and its production across the Waihi - Tauranga Main Highway; thence along the generally southern side of that highway to the northernmost corner of Section 12, Block I, Katikati Survey District; thence along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 12 aforesaid, and the generally western boundaries of Section 17, Block I, and Section 31, Block IV, Katikati Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Section 11, Block IV aforesaid, Lots 3 and 2 on D.P. 23590, the crossing of a public road, the northern and western boundaries of Lot 1 on D.P. 23590, the generally northern boundaries of Sections 30 and 28, Block IV aforesaid, and the north-eastern boundary of Crown land to the north-western comer of Section 3, Block VII, Aroha Survey District; thence along a right line to Te Aroha Mountain ; thence by a line running due west to the boundary between Blocks IX and X, Aroha Survey District; thence southerly and south-easterly along that boundary to the easternmost corner of Section 14h ; hence along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the Haeanga Stream, and down that stream to the Waihou River; thence along the Waihou River to the road forming the northern boundary of Section 13, Block IX, Aroha Survey District; thence south-westerly along that road to Stanley Road, and along Stanley Road to the south-eastern corner of Section 65, Block IX aforesaid ; thence along the southeastern boundaries of Sections 65, 66, and 67, and along the south-western boundary of said Section 67 and Section 68, Block IX, Aroha Survey District, to the Morrinsville -Te Aroha Railway; thence bounded towards the south-west generally by the Hauraki Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the mouth of the Waihou River, the point of commencement, and including Great Barrier Island County, Cuvier, Great Mercury, Whanganui, Slipper, and adjacent islands.
Taukanga. This district is bounded towards the north-west by the Thames Electoral District hereinbefore described from the intersection of the confiscation line with a line running from Te Aroha Mountain in the direction of the mouth of the Waihi Stream to the south-eastern corner of Part Waihi No. 5 Block at Te Ararimu in Block I, Katikati North Survey District; thence bounded towards the north-east generallv by the sea to the mouth of the Rangataiki River diversion, Block V, Awa-o-te-Atua Survey District; thence up the Rangataiki River to the confiscation boundary-line, and by that line over Mount Edgecumbe to the south-western corner of Matata Parish ; thence by the western boundary of the said Matata Parish to and along the More Streamj to and along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Rotoma Survey District, and the southern boundary of Section 10, Block VI, of the said survey district, to and along the southern boundary and road forming part of the south-western boundary of Section 9 and intersecting the western portion of the said Section 9, and forming the south-western boundary of Section 6, all of the aforesaid, Block VI, to and along the road forming the southern boundary of No. 14 of Blocks V and VI, to and along the road forming the north-western boundary of the scenic reserve of the said Blocks V and VI, all of the said Rotoma Survey District, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of the Matawhaura, Te Arataukauiki, and Tokerau Blocks, to and along the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections 4 and la, Block IV, Rotoiti Survey District, to and along the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections 6 and 4, Block XVI, Maketu Survey District, and intersecting Run No. 4, to a point due east of Otane-Wainuku Trig Station ; thence by a right line to the said Otane-Wainuku Trig. Station ; thence by a right line running due west from the aforesaid trig station to a point in line with a right line between Puwhenua and Te Weraiti Trig Stations ; thence along that line to the Matamata-Tauranga Main Highway ; thence south-westerly generally to Raparapa Road; thence by Raparapa Road and Name Road to the Kaimai Main Highway; thence by that highway to the Waihou River; thence by that river to the south-western boundary of Lot 3, on D.P. 18847'; thence by that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Part 3, on D.P. 12775 and Part 3, on D.P. 13015 to the Maungawhara Stream ; thence by that stream to the Rotorua-Auckland Railway line ; thence by that railway-line to Puketutu Road, thence by Puketutu Road, and Matai Road to the south-eastern corner of Section 143, Block V, Tapapa Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of said Section 143 to the Mangapapa River ; thence up the Mangapapa River to the southernmost corner of Te Tapui Block ; thence by the south-western, western, and north-eastern boundaries of Te Tapui Block to the Mangapapa River ; thence by that river to the Waitoa River, and by that river to the southeastern boundary of the Matamata North Block ; thenee by the south-eastern boundary of the Matamata North Block, the south-western, and southern boundaries of the Taramoarahi No. 1 Block, and the south-western boundaries of Part 8 on D.P. 2843 to the southernmost corner of the said Part 8 ; thence by the north-western boundaries of Lots 2, 3, and 4 on D.P. 22602, and the north-western boundaries of the Matamata Settlement and that boundary produced to the Waihou River; thence by the Waihou River and the Wairere River to its source, and thence by a right line to the summit of the range ; thence along the summit of the range and by the confiscation-line to a line running from Te Aroha Mountain to the mouth of the Waihi Stream, the point of commencement. This district is bounded towards the west, north-west, and east generally by the Raglan, Hamilton, and Tauranga Electoral Districts hereinbefore described from the confluence of the Mangauika Stream and the Waipa River to the southernmost corner of Te Tapui Block, the western boundaries of Section 136, Block VIII, Cambridge Survey District, the south-western boundaries of Sections 135, 134, and 132, Block XII, Cambridge Survey District, Sections 131, 130, and 129, Block XVI, Cambridge Survey District, to the Waikato River; thenee by the Waikato River to a point opposite the north-western corner of Section 9, Block XII, Maungatautari Survey District; thence by a right line to Trig Station Maungatautari; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Maungatautari No. 3a 5a 1 Block ; thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said No. 3a 5a 1, to and along the south-eastern and southwestern boundaries of No. 4h 8, to and along the southeastern boundary of No. 4hb, all of the said Maungatautari Block, to the Mangahoe Stream ; thence by that stream to
