Westland. This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the sea from the mouth of the Awarua River at Big Bay to the mouth of the Seven-mile Creek; thence bounded towards the east generally by the eastern boundary of the Rapahoe Range Scenic Reserve No. 974, as existing on the 24th March, 1936, to the Grey River; thence bounded towards the north and north-east generally by the said Grey River, to and along the A-K Line Road, to and along the southern boundary of Coal-mining Leases 711 and 712 and the production of that boundary to the Arnold River; thence by that river, to and along the shores of Lake Brunner, to and along the south-western boundaries of Block V, Brunner Survey District, Blocks IX, X, XV, and XVI, Kopara Survey District, and Block XIII, Haupiri Survey District, to and along the summit of the northern watershed of the Taramakau River to the summit of the Southern Alps ; thence bounded towards the south-east generally by the summit of the said Southern Alps and the south-eastern boundary of the Westland Land District to Mount Aspiring ; thence bounded towards the south by a right line from the said Mount Aspiring to the mouth of the Awarua River at Big Bay, the place of commencement. Buller. This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the sea from the mouth of the Seven-mile Creek to the mouth of the Kahurangi River; thence bounded towards the north-east generally by that river and its northern branch to the summit of the watershed; thence along the summit of that watershed, being the eastern boundaries of the Kahurangi and Whakapoai Survey Districts, to Mount Domett; thence along the summit of the range passing through Aorere Peak, Mounts Cobb, Snowden, and Peel, and Gordon's Pyramid to Mount Arthur; thence bounded towards the south-east generally by the summit of the Tasman, Marine, and Lyell Ranges to Bald Hill; thence following the spur to the confluence of the Eight-mile or Boundary Creek with the Buller River; thence due south to Trig. Station K (4,229 ft.); thence south-westerly to the summit of the Brunner Range; thence by that range and Victoria Range and passing through Mounts Wynn, Pelion, Victoria, and Ralph to a point lying due east of the south-eastern corner of Section 60, Block X, Reefton Survey District; thence bounded towards the south by a right line to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 60 ; thence by the eastern boundary of that section and its production to the southern bank of the Waitahu River ; thence by that river to its confluence with the Inangahua River; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 8, Block IX,

Reefton Survey District, and by the north-eastern boundary of that section and its production to the summit of the range forming the western watershed of the Inangahua River ; thence bounded towards the south-east generally by the summit of that range to the tunnel near Trig. X, Block XIII, Reefton Survey District, on the Greymouth-Reefton Railway line ; thence by that railway to the Grey River ; thence bounded towards the south generally by the said Grey River and Upper Grey River to the north-eastern corner of Run 624, Block 111, Pohaturoa Survey District; thence by a right line to Mount Haast on the summit of the Victoria Range ; thence by the summit of the southern watershed of the Maruia River to the summit of the Spencer Mountains ; thence bounded towards the south-east generally by the summit of the said Spencer Mountains and the Southern Alps to the summit of the northern watershed of the Taramakau River ; thence bounded towards the south-west generally by the Westland Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the summit of the Southern Alps to the sea at the mouth of the Seven-mile Creek, the place of commencement.
