Health Amendment Bill. I have the honour to report that, as the Hon. the Minister of Health informed the Committee that the Government does not propose to proceed with the Bill this session, the Committee has no recommendation to make. W. T. Anderton, for Chairman. 9th March, 1938.

Special Report. I have the honour to report that at its final meeting the Public Health Committee passed the following resolution : " That this Committee place on record its appreciation of the care and ability with which the Chairman, Dr. D. G. McMillan, has conducted the business of the Committee, expresses regret at his illness, and hopes for his speedy restoration to health, and directs that this resolution be reported to the House." W. T. Anderton, a Member of the Committee. 15th March, 1938.

Special Report. I have the honour to report that at its final meeting the Public Health Committee passed the following resolution : " That this Committee place on record its appreciation of the efficient manner in which the Clerk, Mr. E. A. Dobbie, has carried out his duties during the session, and directs that this resolution be reported to the House." 15th March, 1938.

Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee has during the session held six meetings, with an average attendance of seven members. Two Bills and eight petitions were referred to the Committee for consideration. W. T. Anderton, for Chairman. 15th March, 1938.
