The Audit Office, having examined the Balance-sheet and accompanying accounts required by law to be audited, hereby certifies them to be correct subject to the following comments: (1) Receipted vouchers were not produced at audit in respect of two payments totalling £19 4s. lid. ; (2) Loans and Advances Ledger Accounts, other than those for workers' dwellings and agricultural loans, show only the amounts of interest received and not the interest receivable ; (3) certain costs of fencing of private properties adjacent to the Maketu Farm that were wrongly charged against the Native development schemes, but the responsibility for which has now been accepted by the Board, have not yet been charged by the Board to the owners of the properties concerned. —J. H. Fowleb, Controller and Auditor-General.
