The vote " Unemployment Expenses " represents the expenditure on administration under the Unemployment Act, 1930, and amendments, for the period Ist April, 1936, to 31st May, 1936. Subsequent to the 31st May, 1936, administration expenses were provided from the Consolidated Fund with the exception that a grant of £60,000 was contributed from the Employment Promotion Fund towards these expenses.
