ORDERS OF REFERENCE. Extracts from the, Journals of the House of Representatives. Thursday, the 12th Day of February, 1942. Ordered " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting by leave, of seventeen members, to consider all petitions, renorte returns, and other documents relating to affairs especially affecting the Native racewinch may-be referred to it and'from time to time to report thereon to this House ; the Committee to consist of Mr. Broadfoot, the Right Hon. Mr Coates, Mr. Cotterill, Mr. (lull™, Mr. Frost, Mr. Kidd, Mr. Lowry, the Hon. Mr. Mason, Mr. Massey, the Hon. Sir Apirana Ngata, Mr. O'Brien, the Hon. Mr. Paikea, Mr. Ratana, Mr. Thorn, Mr. Tirikatene, Mr. Williams, and the Mover."—(Hon. Mr. Mason.) Tuesday, the 17th Day of March, 1942. Ordered, "That all petitions not finally dealt with during the session of 1941 be again referred to the same Committees as they were referred to during the said session." —(Right Hon. Mr. i baser.) Wednesday, the 14th Day of October, 1942. Ordered, " That the Native Purposes Bill be referred to the Native Affairs Committee."—(Hon. Mr. Mason.) Thursday, the 15th Day of October, 1942.
