(б) Increased expenditure has arisen in consequence of the taking over of Wairakei and The Chateau. (c) A considerable amount of the increased expenditure has occurred as a result of the disastrous fire at Seacliff. (d) Increase due to shortage of staff necessitating increased overtime. (e) Decreased expenditure due to strict economy in printing and the use of paper. (/) Decreased expenditure arises through lack of overseas supplies.
