(a) Land purchases to be made as suitable blocks for State afforestation become available to ensure that rehabilitation schemes may proceed immediately when required. (b) Includes the cost of printing books and leaflets for sale and for issue. ( r ) Completion of alterations Rotorua Office and other miscellaneous items. (e) Expenditure on investigations into the properties of various species for improved utilization, studies of silviculture and entomological problems, and staff training. (/) Additional duties assumed in connection with timber control has caused extended hours to be worked bv almost entire staff.
