(a) This represents a payment of Is. 9d. per head on all " passed " calves killed during the period Ist December, 1942, to .'list May, 1943. Payment at the same rate and totalling £76,803 was made last financial year for all " passed " calves killed in the first half of the bobby-calf season. This is additional to the 2s. per head paid under section 7of the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, Amendment No. 1.
