(a) Return of some officers from military service and additional officers appointed to cope with expanding activities. (b) £7,000 provided on main estimates. Control and expansion of primary-production activities, coupled with need for rapid clearance of certain aspects of wartime work. (c) £15,000 provided on main estimates. Circulation increasing very rapidly. (</) £2,000 provided on main estimates. To meet demands of men returning from overseas; also, there is a general demand from farmers for the bulletin type of farming literature. (e) £1,750 provided on main estimates'. Reprinting of certain forms previously either eliminated or reduced in various ways is essential in view of general primary-production expansion.
