COMMISSION OF INQUIRY TO DETERMINE WHETHER CERTAIN COSTS COULD BE DEBITED TO THE DAIRY INDUSTRY STABILIZATION ACCOUNT (REPORT OF)

Presented to both Houses of the General Assembly by Command of His Excellency Commission of Inquiry to determine whether certain Costs could be debited to the Dairy Industry Stabilization Account C. L. N. NEWALL, Governor-General To all to whom these presents shall come, and to the Right Honourable Sir Michael Myers, G.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand ; and the Honourable Mr. Robert Kennedy, a Judge of the Supreme Court; and the Honourable Mr. Harold Featherston Johnston, a Judge of the Supreme Court: Greeting. Whereas on the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-three, the Honourable Mr. Daniel Giles Sullivan, Minister of Industries and Commerce, wrote to the Secretary of the Farmers' Federation a letter, a copy of which is set out in the Schedule hereto, and on the same date Mr. Walter William Mulholland, as Chairman of the Farmers' Federation, wrote to the Honourable the Minister in Charge of Stabilization—namely, the said Honourable Mr. Daniel Giles Sullivan—the letter a copy of which is also set out in the Schedule hereto : And whereas a certain question has arisen out of the administration of the Government —namely, the question whether, having regard to all circumstances —relevant to the agreement between the Government
