And whereas by the said Warrant you were required to report within thirty days of the date thereof your findings and opinions on the matters referred to you together with such recommendations as you might think fit to make : And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting should be extended as hereinafter provided : Now, therefore, I, Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1908, and all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, and acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, do hereby extend until the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, the time within which you are so required to report: And, in further pursuance of the said powers and authorities and with the like advice and consent, I do hereby confirm the said Warrant and the Commission thereby constituted save as modified by these presents. Given in Executive Council under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of May, 1948. A. H.
