No. 123/1947 —Petition of J. C. Hepburn and Others Praying for the provision of additional schools and boarding facilities for pupils in the Hamilton area. * I have the honour to report that the member who presented this petition having expressed, on behalf of the petitioners, a desire to withdraw the same, the Committee recommends that she be allowed to do so. 4th August, 1948.

Trades Certification Bill I have the honour to report that the Education Committee has carefully considered the Trades Certification Bill, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed with the amendments shown in the copy of the Bill hereto annexed. Ist September, 1948.

Education Amendment Bill I have the honour to report that the Education Committee has carefully considered the Education Amendment Bill, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed with the amendments shown in the copy of the Bill hereto annexed. 4th November, 1948.

Education Amendment Bill (second report) I have the honour to report that the Education Committee has again considered the Education Amendment Bill, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed with the further amendments shown in the copy of the Bill hereto annexed.
