The provisions of this Protocol shall on and after this day constitute an integral part of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, dated October 30, 1947, and the rectifications included herein shall be applied as if they had formed a part of said Agreement on that date. 4. The original of this Protocol shall be deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, who is authorized to effect registration thereof.
