An analysis of subscriptions to the " tap " loan for the period 19th January, 1948, to 31st March, 1949, is as follows :

Conversion Loan On the 15th March, 1949, the Reserve Bank, on behalf of the Government, issued a prospectus inviting applications at par for conversion into 2-|-per-cent. stock repayable 15th June, 1954-55, or 3-per-cent. stock repayable 15th June, 1961-64, in respect of the following New Zealand Government loans : Maturity.
