Extracts from the Journals of the House of Representatives Friday, the Bth Day of July, 1949 Ordered, " That a Select Committee be appointed, consisting of nine members, to consider all matters relating to public health, infectious diseases, contagious diseases, hospitals, and to local authorities having charge of these matters, and to other matters affecting public health which may be referred to it: the Committee to consist of Mr. Aderman, Mr. Anderton, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Herron, Mr. Kent, Mr. Marshall, Mrs. Ross, Mr. T. E. Skinner, and the Mover."—(Hon. Miss Howard.) Tuesday, the 26th Day of July, 1949 Ordered, " That the Physiotherapy Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee."—(Hon Miss Howard.) Wednesday, the sth Day op October, 1949 Ordered, " That the Radioactive Substances Bill be referred to the Public Health Committee." — (Hon. Miss Howard.)

Physiotherapy Bill I have the honour to report that the Public Health Committee has carefully considered the Physiotherapy Bill, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed with the amendments shown in the copy of the Bill hereto annexed. 16th August, 1949.
