No. 58—Petition of R. G. Mason (Eepresenting the Auckland Returned Services Association) Praying for relief on behalf of ex-servicemen arts and commerce students who have been disadvantageously affected by the termination of war concessions in examinations. I have the honour to report that the Committee has carefully considered the petition, and recommends that the petition be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, but since any action will be for the New Zealand University, the Committee asks that the Government acquaint the Registrar with this decision. 21st September, 1949.
