No. 24—Petition of J. Spence Praying for compensation in connection with the loss of his son. I have the honour to report that the Committee has carefully, considered this petition, and recommends that it be referred to the Government for consideration. 18th August, 1949.
No. 32—Petition of P. Sampson Praying for an increase in his pension. I have the honour to report that the Committee has carefully considered this petition, and has no recommendation to make. 31st August, 1949.
No. 41—Petition of A. W. A. Bruce Praying for the grant of a war pension. I have the honour to report that the member presenting the petition having requested permission to withdraw it, the Committee recommends that he be allowed to do so. sth October, 1949.
