OBITUARY.
It is with regret we have to record the death of another old identity, Mrs Eliza. Slattery, relief of the late Mr J. P. Slattery, who came to Auckland, in the ship Columbus in the year 1865, under engagement to the late Bishop Pompallier. his cousin being the late Father Walter McDonald. .Deceased leaves 32 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and four surviving daughters, *to mourn their loss.
