MR F. M. RICKMAN.

Mr F. M. Rickman reports on the weekly sale held at his Arcade Horse Bazaar and General Market, Ashburton, on Saturday last:-About sixty tones of all classes were entered for sale, including five Very superior draught mares and geldings from Oamaru, Good sound young draught horsea, with a trial, sold up to £22 IQh ; inferior and aged draughts from £4 to £10, Good soundl hacks and harness horses from £8 to £12. Special entries, namely, the Oamaru horses, sold from £18 to £22; and the trotting pony, Mountjoy. at £21 ;*l*b a Very superior aged dog- cart horse at £17. The attendance of the public was large throughout the day, and it took until nearly dark to sell all the lots.
