Mount Hutt Road Board.
Tho monthly meeting was held on June 11. Present-Messrs Browne, Johnston and Druinniond. In the absence of Mr Cameron, Mr Johnston was appointed Chairman of the meeting. The Clerk was authorised to have necessary repairs done on the Alford Forest Road. The matters of re-shingling the Cairnbrae Road, and shingling a portion of the Chertsey Read were held over for a fuller meeting. It was arranged that Messrs Johnston, Drummond and the Clerk inspect the Railway Road between Mitcham and Lsrariston, and report on* the same. It was resolved to advertise the Board's intention to sue for al\ outstanding' rates. The letter was received, but consideration of the question deferred for a fuller meeting.—From tho same, idcingfor ftrther information re land to be exchanged with Mr A. Thompson. The Clerk was instructed to give the necessary information. It was decided to shingle the balance of the Boundary Road as far f as Lyndhurst school, should the Upper Ashburton Board agree. Mr Black's tender for, repairs on Thompson's Ti**, and JMr Devery s for repairs at BanAil!* were accepted. Accounts amounting to £91 13s Bd, were passed for payment.
