The monthly meeting of the Longbeach Roue! Board w*B held on Monday. Pros mt— M ■; is J. Bishop, J. Croy, and E, Horsey, ilr Bishop wiis voed to the chair. The chairman (Mr Grige) wrote regretting his inability to attend the meeting. CORRESPONDENCE. From the linwald Town Board re bird's ejigs ; Rhodes' trustees consenting to exchange of gravel pit on Boundary road ; the Charitable Aid Board forwarding list , of persons in receipt of relief. SUKVEYOKS' BEPOKT. Terrace Road.--Tenders were called for shingling this road from side drain and that of P. Clifford's was accepted. The contract has been completed. Boundary Road.—fhe contract for shingling this road has not yet been satisfactorily completed. burveyor's Road.—The contractor has completed hi& contract for shingling this road, and the account will be laid before the Board to-daj. Chatntotfs Road.—The maintenance man has been engaged in making this road passable for traffic. Levels have been taken from thePlemington shingle pit to the creek, but c find there is not sufficient fall to make a relieving drain in this direction, that is to be of any practical benefit. Minor works, sucb m putting in pirn• in lieu of bridges on Me Lennan's road, repairing bridge*., patching roads, etc. have been done by the maintenance man. TENDERS. .tenders were accepted—For shingling Ford's Road-J. Griffin at Is 6d ; forming Wilkin Street—W. Miles, at 3s lOd. RATES. It waa resolved to sue for all rates not paid on or before April I. BIKDB NCISAKCE. The clerks wero instructed to advertise that no eggs or heads of email birds would be taken after March 14. CHUBCH ROAD. Consideration of the extension of the above road to Ford's Road w*s held until a full meeting of membeis. ELECTION. The day of election for two members (Messrs Grigg and Wilson), who retire by lot was fixed for May 3. ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £159 6s 2d were passed for payment, ani the megting adjourned.
