(in conjunction ■with Mr Henry Zinder), report on the live stock market for week ending April 10 as follows :-Considering the wet weather on luesday last, the Tinwald yards were £»•>!» represented with all classes of sheep. The attendance of buyers was under the average j and most lines offered for sa.!o were withdrawn. *afc Sheep T The entries comprised principally merino wethers, which sold rom 7s to 7« 9d. Sheep-Quality v this line was not as well represented as usual. Prices for all sorts showed a faHina off, excepting one or two good lines of crossbred wethers, for which there was eager competition. Merino ewes, full mouth, made 5s 6d to 6s ; failing month from 3s 6d t04 3 9d. Merino wethers in forward condition realised ss. Crossbred wethers, twotooth, from 12stol6s.ipd; aged, from 9s to lOa od. Lambs—The small number yarded sold slightly better than prices quoted or late sales.
