LATE SPORTING.

Races and sports are being held at Mr L D. Nathan's estate ab Whitford Park today. A good number of excursionists lef o by the s.s. Waitoa this morning for the purpose of attending the gathering. It was expected that Lord Onslow would be present during the afternoon. P. Nolan, the well-known cross-country rider, came down from Sydney in the s.s. Ringarooma last night on a fiying visit. He returns on Tuesday next. Nolan had the misfortune to get his collarbone broken on the morning he left, caused through schooling a horse at Randwick.
