GREAT CUF-TXE CROWDS. UNPRECEDENTED INTEREST. (Received 10 a.m.l LONDON, January 14. Remarkable cup-tie scenes were witnessed in London and the provinces. It is estimated tliat there were nearly 1,009,000 spectators. Over 500,000 passengers were carriea on the London underground railways. Three hundred extra omnibuses were requisitioned. London was invaded by people from the provinces, thousand's of whom were from Wales, the -lidlands, and the South, with rattles, whistles, and mascots. The cities of Manchester, Liverpool, Hull, and Huddersfield are all football mad, special trains and charabancs bein" overloaded.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
