Apart from Royalist and extreme Republican circles, the formation of a Venizelist Cabinet is regarded as the only solution. No Liberal will serve under any other Premier. M. Roussos brings the experience of diplomacy to the Foreign Ministry, and is the leader of the Republican-Liberal wing, but there i* a distinctly moderate section in the Cabinet. M. Venizelos will work for the termination of a state of civil war. an absolutely impartial plebiscite, and a reduction of public expenditure by adopting the British system of control by the Treasury over all other departments. M. Venizelos says he will retire in a few months. The Republicans announce that they will fight bard to restore their own principles.— (A. and N./C. Cable.)
