RUSHTON—GRAY

A quiet, but pretty, wedding was solemnised on March 27 at St. David's Presbyterian Church, Upper Hutt, when Miss Elizabeth Gray (Dolly), daughter of Mr James Gray, of Fifeshire, Scotland, was married to Mr George Rushton, late of Napier, son of Mrs B. Rushton, Wellington, and the late Mr B. Rushton, Gore. The Rev. G. Hunt performed the ceremony. The bridge, wiio was given away by Mr James Semple, made a charming picture in her wedding dress of pale. pink georgette over crepe de chine in a deeper shade c-f pink, ihe waist being finished with a diamante girdle. - Her hat of pink georgette matohed her j frock. Silver shoes and hose to tone were worn. and she carried a bouquet of pale pink and white roses wi'„h silver streamers. Miss Nan Morrison, the brkleamaid,

wore a pretty frock ot pink crepe de ckiue, with flared skirt. Her hat of soft pink straw was prettily trimmed with silver, and she carried a bouquet of deep pink roses and asparagus fern. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Gordon Olsen. After tbe ceremony a reception was held at Daphne Yilla, the residence of Mrs James Semple, sister of the bridogroom. Later Mr and Mrs Rushton left by car for the north. Their future home will be in Wanganui.
