CLIVE PEOPLE INSPECT OVERFLOW. CONNECTION COMPLETED. A party of Clive residents, who this morning paid a visit to the intake, where the Tutaehuri overflo.v takes the water from the river, found that despite statements made at the meeting 011 Friday night last, to the effect that there was 110 actual connection between the overflow and the tiver, there was a depth of two feet of water running down the overflow from the river as far as the first Swamp, under the normal conditions eSistin dy . etaoin etaoin e taoin5 oxisting to-day.
