LONDON. April S. Tbe Royal Draiving Society's 40tb exhibition opened at tbe Guiidball. New Zealand artists wbo necured awards include tbe Missos Nancy Dobson, Pbyllis Oxford. Beatrice Morling and Katc Snxbj*. Tbe subjects were mostly plants. Miss Gretta McGuire, of Remuera, speoialised in oils. _ Tlio judgo.s recrard Australian and New Zealand participation as evidences of increased intorest in tbe purpose of tho society, wliicli is to encourage tbe development of youtliful artistry in the Empire. -
