SALE AT PETANE
BROKERS' REPORTS. Tlio Hawlce's Bay Stockhrokers' Association report at the Petane sale yesterday a small yarding of hoth slieep and cattle. There was a fair attendance of tho public, and prices ranged as under: — Dairy eows £'6 to £10. fat wethers to 27s 91, fat lamhs to 20s 6d, f and f lamhs to 20s, m.a. ewes (R. rain) to 15s, 2-th. wethers to 25s 8d. The following saies were effected : — De Pelieliet, McLeocl and Co., Ltd. — 40 fat lamhs 20s 6d, 94 f. and f. lamhs 20s, 85 m.a. ewes (R. rara) 15s, 24 2-th. wctliers 25s 8d, 7 fat wethers 27s 9d. Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd. — 1 dairy heifer in profit £10, 1 springing dairy heifer £8, 1 springing dairy heifer £6 5s.
