RIFLE SHOOTING
■ TARADALE DEFENCE CLUB. The Taradale Rifle Club held its final shoot on Saturday afternoon. Despit© unfavourable weather conditions some fair scores were registered. The champion belt, presented by Mr T. F. Maidens, was won by Rifleman S. Pedersen, who has been shooting very consistently right through the season. Rifleman C- Ivreig, who is a promising young shot, was the winner of ino Balfour Cup. The following are the scores, ten shots at each range- —
Aggregate Champion Belt. — S. Pedersen 186, M. R. Jarvis 183, J. T. Jarvis 181. Aggregate Balfour Cup. — O. Ivreig 180, H. W. Brown 178, K. Maidens 177.
