SOCIALISTS SEGURE A MAJORITY. Disarmament Issue.
COPENHAGEN, April 26. While the great Powers are arguing about disarmanient, Denmark made it an election issue. whereupon the Socialists' combination with tTie Radieal Liberal party secured 77 seats and all otlier parties 68. The Prime Minister, AT. Madesen ATygdal, accordingly luis tendercd his resignntion. rt seems certain the King will ask the Soeialist leader, M. Stauning, to form a Cahinet, after which the Socialists will introdnee a hill transforming the army into a police foree and tlie navy into const guards. Tliis the Renate is praetieall3' certain to rejeet. Tlie Socialists will then use administrative means to re(luco expenditure on armaments to a niinimum.
