LONDON, April 25. The Duke of Sutherlajnd has sold to •1 New York art dealer for npproximateJv £70,000 the famous Romnev portrait of the Dueliess of Sutherlnnd. which has luing in Surrey Alansion for years. This is an interesting sequel to a recent dispute. in which the Duke sont a letter to the same New York dealer, who wa.s exhibiting a Romney pieture of the Dueliess. stating that it was not tbe orisinal but a copy.
