RUGBY CONTINUED
FOOTBALL IN ALL GRADES. PIRATES, HASTINGS AND H.S.O.B. WIN AGAIN. CLOSE NAPIER MATCHES. Competition games under tlie auspjces of the Hawke's Bay Rugby Onion were continued 011 Saturday, matches being played in six grades. Attendanees at the matches, which were played in brilliant sunshine, wero not large. Four senior games were played. I.n Napier, Pirates and H.S.O.B. won agaiu, the former beating M.A.C. 9 — 6, while the latter defeated T.C.O.B. 5 — 3. Ln Hastings, Hastings handsomely defeated Celtic by 33 points to nil. Marists beat Hastings H.S.O.B. 13 — 3. Lower grade matches were also commenced, but most of the Napier teams were affected in strength by the fact tbe players only to-day arrived home fiom the military eanip. Tn the senior grade, Pirates, H.S.O.B. and Hastings now lead with four points each. Pirates and Hastings incet in Napier next Saturday.
