— CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES AT WANGANUI.

WANGANUI, Saturday. The Gun Club Championships were shot off to-day. Results : — Clay Bird Cliampionsliip. — A. Myers (Kimbolton) and A. E. Brown (Stratford) tied. In tlie shoot-off for a gold watch Myers won. J. Mc-Mullan (Taihape), T. Miller (Masterton), J. T. Duncan (Taihape) and E. Groome (Napier) divided the third and fourth money. There were 31 entries. Opeu Shoot, £50. — G. Beard (Kimbolton) and E. Groome (Taihape) divided the first and second money. Joblin, Anderson, Hegartv, Anderson and Casey divided third money. There were 3-4 entries.
