WHAKATU WIN

A HARD-FOUGHT SOCCER MATCH. Y.M.C.A. BEATEN. Napier Y.M.C.A. journeyed to Whakatu and played a hard-fought Sorcer match with Whakatu. The first half was very fast and exciting, Pellow shooting home the first goal for Wliakatu, while Halstead equalised for Y.M.C.A. The second half was equally §pectacular, both sides displaying fine form. Laurie shot a goal for Whakatu, winning the match by two goals to one. The match was very clean and much enjoyed by the spectators.
