li.S.O.B. and T.C.O.B. met on McLean Park, a hard-fought contest resulting. The Groys scored early in the game, O'Brien putting over a shot from a penalty. Play was very fast and evenly distributed territorially. Tecli., however, put more determination into their play and half way through the spell Guillemot got over for an* unconverted try. During the onsuing play Milgate, the Tech. forward and Hawke's Bay representative cricketer, broko a leg above the ankle. Kalf-time sounded with the score T.C.O.B. 6, H.S.O.B. 0. Early in the second spell Evans scored a good try for Tech., O'Brien putting over a fine goal. Palmer scored a little later and Tech won 14 — 0. Mr P., Biggs refereed.
