NAPIER CLUB.
The fine weather was much appreciatecl by bowlers on Saturday afternoon, and with the Napier green in splendid condition very good bowling prevailed.Befpre the games commenced thel bowlers gathered together in silent tribute to the memory of the Jate Mr Syd White, who passed away very suddenly during the week, and who for many years had been a very popiw lar niemher of the Napier Club* Scores ; — Oliver, P. Barry, Thorp, Hill (s), 21 J La Roclie, Cooke, Stoi'key,- Bear ' (s),: 19. Rohinson, Neilson, Gilberd, Engegretsen (s), 20; McNiven, Newburn^ Steed, Belcher (s), 16. McMurray, Burrell, G. Sweetapple^ Evans («), 24; Wliitehouse, Saflds,j Brownette, Faulknor (s), 22. Fitzhenry, Dykes, McGhee, Holroyd (s), 32: McGrath, D. Barry, Lydford, Leversedgo (s), 22. On Saturday next the Napier Club will he "at home" to the lnember^ of the St. Leonarcls Club, and provid-u ed fine weather prevails a very enjoy* ahe afternoon should hp speut.
