John Boyd Clark, charged with negligently driving a car on March 31 , si as to cause the death of _a girl, Maureen Mitchell, was eommitted for trial, bail being allowed in a surety of £50. Oue witne6S said that after hittiug the post the car spun round four times like a top. The deacl girl was a passenger and one of a party returning from a dance.
