Hastings, yesterday. Present: Messrs G. Ebbett (chairman). J. H. Colehourne, T. H. Lowry, O. E. Twist, G. 1). Beatson IV. H. Gaisford and J. S. McLeod. Yarious correspondence from the New Zealand Racing Conference, dealing with licenses and stipendiary stewarcls' reports, was received and dealt with. Applications for trainers' licenses were ordered to be sent to the licensing committee of the Racing Conference. An applicatiou to work in a stable was rei'errcd to tlie Gisborne Racing Club. Programmes for the Winter meetings of the Gisborne Racing Club and the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club were approved. also the classic events of tlio Hawke's Bay Jockey Club — Hawke's Bay Guineas, 1930, and Hawke's Bay Stakes. 1930. The inspeetor's report and a list of fines of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club were endorsed. A list of dates for tlie comiug scason's race meetings in tlie llawke's Bay district was plac-ed beforo tlie meeting and is to be i'orwarded to the dates committee of tlie New Zealand Racing Conference Tlio next committee meeting was fixed for Fridav, May 31.
