Tlie Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Committee met in Hastings yesterday. Present : Mcasrs G. Ebbett (eliairnnui) J. H. Colebourne, T. H. Lowry, G. D Beatson, J. S. McLeod. T. V. Morrin and H. R. Campbell A letter was received from tlie Hast ings Rugbv Sub-Union accepting the club's conditions for ihe use of the racecourse ground. Tlie New Zealand Racing Conference and Egmont Racing Club wrote in regard to broadcasting. Tlie next meeting of tlie committeo was fixcd lor Fridav. May 31. Correspondence from tlie Sports Protection League was received. Reniits for tlie conference were left to a sub-committee to draw up. Tracks regulations were approved by the committee. fnterim statements and coinparative statements of tlie Autumn meeting and attendance were placc'd before mcmbers and considered satisfactory.
