FEILDING, This day. Tlic ballot for 12 sections of the AVcstclla Estate, purcliascd hy tlie Goveniment for sub-division for eloser settlement took placo last night. Of 1(59 applicants examined 96 were approvcd. Tlie following vere successful: — Scction 1, Mr A. AVaugli (Alartinhorougli) ; section 2, Alrs E. Cocki'ane (AA'hakarongo) ; section 8, Mr Jack AA'allace (Hastings) ; section 4, Alr AVilfred Ansin (Palmerston Nortli); section 5, Mr G. Kendriek (Pahiatua) ; section 6, Mi* Rolieit Grant (Dannevirke) ; section 7, Mr J. E. Lind (Napier); section 8, Mr Duncan AAhisker (Thames); section 9, Mr H. Alurchin (Taihape); section 10, Mr R. T. Grirfin (Featherston); section 11, Mr A. E. AYilkins (AVoodville) ; section 12, Mr R. J. vStewart (Feilding).
