THE WEEK-END CONDITIONS. YESTERDAY IN HASTINGS. Absolutcly boisterous weather conditions ruled in Hastings yesterday. The heautiful weather on Saturday suggested a fine week-end, but on Saturday night rain fcll. It continued yesterday. and to help things along a heavy wind arrived. At times during tho day, the wind reaclied the proportions of a gale, and residents liad visions of a repetition of the Palmerston North cyclone. Gradually, however, tlie wind. easod up, and to-day good weather was heiug experienced once more.
