WELLINGTON, Last night. • Acting on the recent yeports of npheavals of the sea hed and clianges in the contour of. the foreshore for considerahle distances, the Marino Department has arranged to earry out an aerial survey ofxthe West Coast from Greymouth to Farewell Spit, possibly also of Tasman Bay. An aeroplane -will leave Wigrarn Aerodromc, Christchurch, probably toinorrow, for Greymouth. Captain Wliitcford, of the Marine Department, who_ will join the aeroplane at Christchurch, will be in charge of thc actual survey work.
