• AYELLINGTON, Last night. A rare -visitor to Wellington, a sea leopard was found. on the. heach in Evans .Bay near- the . power honse, this moi-ning. It was nearly fullgrown and appeared to be quite uninjured, but liungry, as, it was movipg restlessly about and opening its moutli at the qpproach of human beings. A good deal qf interest was taken in the unusual visitor until its departure > for the zoo on a m'otor lorry. Tlie sea 1 leopard has been seen about the har- J bour _ several times _ during the past fortnight, but tbis is said to be the first time it lias been noticed ashore.
