Joe Setford (Dannevirke) is the second five-eighths in the Hawke's Bay Rugby representatives and the most dependable back on the side. Setford is fast and nippy and very clever in varying the character of his attack. He has played for the Dannevirke Sub--Union for some years and represented Hawke's Bay in 1928-29.
