MASTERTON, Saturday. Wairarapa and M anawhenua teams met at Masterton this ai'ternoon in fine weather, though for several hours up to noon lieavy rain had falllcn, making the ground heavy and prom^ing to spoil the play altogether. The Wairarapa forwards came away and subsequently Mill smartly snapped up tlie spliere ancl got across. Fuller failed, though it was a good effort.
